It has been very busy and stressful lately with school, especially since it is my final semester of school. My day to day life has been quite uneventful, so I am really excited that November is finally here. On November 15th, I turn 23 years old! Although I don't have any plans for going out (will probably just order in dinner), I thought it would fun to create a birthday wishlist!

One of my favorite pastimes is to go online window shopping for some of my favorite brands and retailers. Lately, I've found some pretty goodies that would be great as birthday presents to treat myself. Below is a list of products I'd love to purchase for my birthday (even though I can't afford to buy every single item unfortunately). I hope this provides you some gift ideas if you know someone's birthday is coming up soon who loves anything girly or for yourself of course.

  1. Macaroons- I had my first bite of tasty macaroons back on my trip to Germany last year. Since then, I have been craving for more. These ones are freshly made you can order from Amazon, for those who don't have a Ladurée close by (envious if you do).

  2. Burberry Perfume- Early this year, I visited Sephora and smelled a sample of My Burberry Blush perfume. Immediately had to add it to my wishlist, it smells beautiful with a sweet floral scent.

  3. Soft Turtleneck Sweater-Can't go wrong with a classic knit as temperatures continue to drop. Adore the slight puff sleeve detail and the metallic threading.

  4. Ruffle Floral Mini Dress- How darling is this dress? I don't care if it's not seasonally appropriate, I can picture myself wearing this pretty dress walking through my favorite rose garden.

  5. Bow Cropped Cardigan- I've been on the hunt to find an adorable sweater and I finally found it. The ribbon bows are my absolute favorite detail.

  6. Rouge à Lèvres Voile Lipstick- Gucci's beauty packaging is stunning and this lipstick is no exception with the floral cap. The color, Mildred Rose, looks like a gorgeous muted red.

  7. Floral Bow Flat Pouch- LoveShackFancy has collaborated with the vibrant bag accessory brand, Stoney Clover and released the sweetest pouches. This would be perfect for cosmetics, travel, carry your medication or supplies for school.

  8. Rose Bustier- For Love and lemons recently came out with their holiday 2020 collection with Victoria Secret. I immediately fell head over heels, especially with this bustier. It's the perfect mix of being sexy yet romantic with the rose embroidery and the ruffle hem.

  9. Cozy Knit Pants- In the white color, these fuzzy lounge pants from SKIMS remind me of marshmallows. I will now call them marshmallow pants. They look so warm and cozy, will come in handy for winter.

Stay tuned, very soon I'll have a post up of my holiday 2020 gift guide! XOXO

It's about that time of the year again to bring out the heavy coats, thick sweaters, blanket scarfs and the classic knee high boots. While these are important essentials for chilly weather, they are typically not classified as "girly" clothing pieces due to the bulky silhouettes and drab colors. However, there are easy tips to transform fall and winter outfits to stay true to a romantic style. From the help of some of my favorite fashion accounts on instagram, I analyzed and took inspiration of their cutest F/W looks. Below are some of my top tips plus links for each page to check out!

1. Wear a beret- A beret adds Parisian flair to any outfit while keeping you toasty from the freezing air.

2. Make your outfit monochromatic- An easy way to create a look that is elegant and high-end is to have a monochromatic color palette. Pick one color that is either a light neutral or your favorite color, and wear pieces that are only in that particular color.

3. Layer your favorite florals with cardigans- As I mentioned from my fall trends blog post, you can still wear pretty florals even if it's not spring or summer anymore. You can wear a floral turtleneck underneath a cardigan that is in a color to match the florals or wear n oversized cardigan over a spring floral dress. Bonus tips, wear floral frilly socks to keep your feet warm and cinch your dress with a waist belt to show a flattering figure.

4. Layer knitwear over long sleeve frilly blouses and underneath summer dresses- A clever trick to wear a light weight, ruffle blouse when it's cold is to wear a chunky sweater on top of it. I find it absolutely darling to see the ruffle wrist of the top poking out from the sweater. Another tip is to wear a cozy sweater as a base layer underneath your favorite sleeveless summer dress. Not only will this keep you warm, you are also able diversify your summer closet.

What are some of your favorite tips and tricks to dress girly and stylish when it's cold? XOXO

Since the start of the fall season, temperatures have slowly started to drop. The foliage have finally started to change to vibrant reds, burnt oranges and stunning golds, which are absolutely gorgeous. I'm looking forward to when my campus looks like this again from last year.

Isn't it spectacular? With chilly days ahead (depending on where you live), it is time transition our closets to accommodate the weather. Organized by category, I created a collage of fashion pieces that are a staple for a feminine autumnal wardrobe. Just because the season's changed does not mean we have to ditch the pastels, florals and puff sleeves. These design details can be easily incorporated to our fall outfits.

P.S. Bottoms are also an essential, there just wasn't any room to add any :)

Outerwear: Coats in my opinion are the most important fall wardrobe essential. They keep you warm from the elements and is the first (sometimes only) garment that others see. This is where you can either go timeless with a camel trench coat or be bold with a pink robe style coat to show your personal girly style. Either way, it is nice to invest in quality outerwear made from wool that will last you for years.

Dresses: It's no secret that dresses are by far my favorite type of garment to wear. Just because the season has change and its getting colder does not mean you have to stop wearing them. Shorter ones are great to wear tights underneath and over the knee boots. Midi lengths can be worn just the same. Dark florals, ruffles and puff sleeves will help elevate the dress into a romantic fall aesthetic.

Knitwear: Just like coats, knitwear is an absolute must have to keep snug and cozy. From wool, cashmere, cotton and even alpaca, sweaters have a diverse selection. As long as the material is buttery soft, then it's a winner. Sometimes I'm in the mood for classic winter whites with a cute ruffle turtleneck. Other times I crave cardigans with pretty embellishments, unique designs and beautiful colors.

Boots: Can't forget about staple footwear, boots. Boots come in variety of colors shapes and sizes. Personally, I prefer over the knee (or knee high) pointed (almond toe) boots made from suede or leather in taupe, beige and cognac. Higher boots add extra warmth to the legs and complement well with any outfit. The shape and style of Stuart Weitzman's I believe are the pinnacle when it comes to luxurious boots, so I try to find a dupe of them.

Accessories: Last, but certainly not least, are the accessories. Adding accessories helps complete any outfit from looking good to chic. Classic accessories for fall include soft scarfs, adorable socks and a stylish handbag. This particular scarf is actually a dupe of the popular plaid Burberry scarf on Amazon. I bought it last year, I'm impressed with the quality and love how it adds a luxurious touch. Also on Amazon are these lovely ruffle socks in pretty pastel colors. They would look so cute peaking out of booties. I adore the quilted pattern and gold hardware on the Tory Burch crossbody. Looks like it would be the perfect bag to wear over thick outerwear.

Keep an eye out for the next blog post coming soon. It will be about how to style fall essentials to look romantic and stylish even when it's cold! XOXO
