The day that this post goes live officially marks 10 days before Christmas wohoo! Unlike the holidays from the past, this one will be a bit different this year obviously. This year will be all about staying home and celebrating the festive time with the ones close to you. Just because we will be hosting Christmas dinners at home this year doesn't mean we can't still dress up for it!

Below are a few feminine outfit options to wear during the holiday season. From something casual to being all dressed up, these looks give a chic boost of cheer without the traditional red and green. Details such as fuzzy sweaters, satin, blush pink and sparkly accessories are perfect for a feminine and elegant style.

Outfit One

Out of all three looks, the first one is definitely the coziest one! Starting off is this grey sweater with an adorable puff sleeve and back tie detail from the contemporary brand WAYF. Paired with it are these soft, blush pink pants that are perfect to lounge in. Of course the shoe choice would be a pair of comfy slippers with precious pom pom's on top. To dress it up a little bit, this pearl initial necklace adds a stylish touch to a classic jewelry staple piece.

Outfit Two

The second outfit is an in-between option where the look is dolled up, but it is not too dressy. This chunky jewel button cardigan is the best worlds worlds in it comes to a mix of warmth and bit of sparkle. A satin champagne skirt like this one from Aritzia elevates the look by making it look more luxurious. These rhinestone mules are so pretty, they're actually a dupe of these beautiful Jimmy Choo shoes. As for an accessory, these crystal bow earrings are a fun way to add a feminine detail that looks way more expensive than it actually is.

Outfit Three

It wouldn't be a festive outfit guide without an outfit full of glitz and glamour. Needle and Thread is a gorgeous brand for occasion wear, this ribbon sequin dress is dreamy with the floaty sleeves that are trimmed with tulle. To match the opulent theme, an embellished caged clutch is a conversation starter with its unique design. No matter if you're simply sitting down or waltzing the night away, a pair of gold bow sandals from Loeffler Randall is a great option to have. For the final accessory, I thought this blush organza hair clip would work well with the other bow details within this outfit.

Since the year of 2020 has been a rollercoaster of emotions, a lot of people have decided to put up their Christmas decorations up earlier this season to brighten up the mood. Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday, so I was happy to see everybody prepping for it. Seeing all the festive content on Instagram and YouTube got me in the cheery mood to decorate my Christmas tree early this year too! For my personal tree in the bedroom, I was heavily inspired by LoveShackFancy's new Madison Ave store opening in New York City this week and Lace & Lashes' Christmas tree 2020 decorating video.

I was in awe of LSF's store window display alone that featured a Christmas tree decorated with sparkly baubles, ballet slippers and of course a giant pink bow placed right on top with an adorable pink toy train circling the bottom of the tree. It was very whimsical and darling as they paid homage to The Nutcracker as their holiday theme this year. Their beautiful facade was layered with garland adorned with pink roses, velvet bows and more baubles!

Immediately wanted to pull my Christmas tree out when I watched Laces & Lashes' YouTube video decorating her tree. I adore her idea of taking some pretty ribbon and wrapping it around the tree along with the gorgeous ornaments. Her tree is also flocked, which gives off the winter wonderland aesthetic.

Lace & Lashes

Supplies: A Christmas tree (mine is a little shorter than the average tree and is metallic!), an assortment of pretty ornaments (snowflake ornaments, ballet slipper ornament, Eiffel Tower ornament), ribbon to make the bows, white fake roses and cute decorative boxes that look like gifts to put underneath the tree (optional). Bonus: The idea of having a toy train go around the tree is so adorable! It reminds me of what you see in classic Christmas movies. Unfortunately, I don't have one...yet.

I have to say I am proud of how my tree turned out! It looks so beautiful all decorated with the baubles (which includes snowflakes, a ballet slipper ornament and an Eiffel Tower ornament) bows, pink ribbon wrapped around the tree and gift boxes at the bottom of it. If only I had a remote control train, but I digress. It was fun yet therapeutic for me decorate this tree considering it has been a stressful year. Looking at my holiday corner in my room makes me smile for something so gorgeous and magical to look at!
