As the new spring season approaches, so many feminine and romantic collections are coming out from some of my favorite brands! Chiffon, pearls, florals, bows, pastels and ruffles always catch my attention, especially for spring fashion. Below are some pieces that I am keeping a close eye on. Hopefully one or two of this pieces will be added to my wardrobe.

Last month in February, I picked up a few pieces that would be perfect for my spring wardrobe. A couple of these items can be worn now and then can be easily transitioned when temperatures become more mild.

This blush fine-knit from H&M is essential to my closet. It is incredibly soft and lightweight, which will be perfect for layering. It can be worn with midi skirts and pumps to dress it up or a pair of trousers with ballet flats for a professional look. I love the little frill detail on the neck line and cuffs. It adds a feminine touch to a basic sweater. Another reason why I love this is because it is a dupe of a lovely Chloé sweater that is a fraction of the price!

Backstory: Lately I've been lusting over pretty designer handbags. From scrolling through my Pinterest feed to watching luxury unboxings on YouTube, my obsession has grown. Unfortunately, I'm not able to afford them (yet). One of them is the Chanel Classic Small Flapbag with the pearl strap that was part of the S/S 2019 collection pictured here. I died when I first saw this. It is so gorgeous with the pearl strap and the classic leather quilting. Out of curiosity, I checked the retailed price here. I died again. So for an affordable alternative, I picked up a beige quilted crossbody and a separate pearl bag strap on Amazon. I just attached the pearls to the bag and ta-da!

A floral chiffon dress is always a good idea for spring. The square neckline and the puff sleeves adds a flattering and contemporary look to a classic dress. These dresses are so easy to wear, I'll probably style it by belting the waist, slip on a pair of espadrilles and carry the quilted crossbody mentioned above! Pearl hair clips or a girly headband wouldn't be a bad option either...

After a long and dreary winter season, we have finally reached March. You know what that means. It means that we are in the homestretch of my favorite season, Spring. Even before March, I craved for mild temperatures, beautiful flowers blooming and the sunshine peaking out from the gloomy clouds with pretty blue skies. Although spring does not start for a couple more weeks, we are already seeing brands bring out their spring collections for 2020. A lot of these pieces are either inspired or directly from the S/S 2020 runways back in September. I am beyond excited to share some of my favorite trends for the upcoming season. Spring fashion is something I adore because it is the epitome of my personal feminine style.

Brock Collection Alexander McQueen Stella McCartney Tory Burch Lanvin

1. Oversized Bows-Big statement bows will be an upcoming trend for spring 2020. No matter if it is on dresses like we saw from the Brock Collection or in hair accessories, this trend adds a girly and dramatic touch to any outfit.

2. Tiered Dresses and Skirts-Designers such as Alexander McQueen embraced the tiered trend on the runways last fall. Tiered dresses and skirts can be easily dressed up due to its layered silhouette.

3. Modern Crochet-Stella McCartney showed the world that crochet does not have to look like your grandma's quilt. Crochet clothing pieces like dresses, tops, pants and cardigans can look very chic.

4. Polka Dots-Polka dots are a classic print, but it will be trendy for this spring season along with florals. Tory Burch is just one of the many designers that used Polka dots for their prints on different styles such as workwear and cocktail dresses.

5. Bra Tops- As temperatures start to increase, the amount of clothes start to decrease. Lanvin is a luxury brand that made this trend more fun and flirt instead of just sexy.

Below are some options to adopt these trends to your own wardrobe! If you click on the picture, it will link you to the product.
