It is not a secret that I am a huge admirer of pretty hair accessories such as bows, hair clips and hairbands. Usually my hair is either down or in a bun, which can be quite boring and repetitive. I enjoy adding these accessories to my hair because it adds a feminine touch to my overall look. Embellishments and materials such as pearls, satin, bows, resin, velvet and rhinestones can also elevate the look to be more luxurious and sophisticated. When pearl hair clips like the Chanel one and padded headbands inspired by Gossip Girl from Prada became a trend, my obsession soared. Some people might find it ridiculous, but I am all aboard of wearing anything that gives me the same vibe as wearing a tiara on my damn head.

Here are some of my favorite hair accessories from my collection.

Unfortunately, many small businesses are taking a hit during the pandemic. Although there are several cool sales going on at the moment for large companies, I believe it is important to support small businesses. Supporting small businesses would not only help out the economy, but it is also a special way to give thanks to our neighbors and local communities who work tirelessly on the projects they are passionate about. Below are some amazing small businesses to checkout, especially if you love all things feminine!

Nicola Bathie is an interior designer turned jewelry designer who hand makes some of the most gorgeous earrings I have ever seen. These pearl and resin earrings are absolutely stunning. Her style is very feminine with a classic/vintage touch.

I came across this Etsy shop last year when I was looking for silk scrunchies. MillieSaisons makes everything out of silk including scrunchies, hair bows, pillowcases, reusable face cleaning pads and more! Not only is the fabric luxurious, it provides great health benefits to your skin and hair.

With delicate brush strokes, Riley Sheehey creates beautiful watercolor illustrations. Her artwork can be used for wallpaper, packaging, stationary or simply hang a picture on the wall. She showcases even more of her adorable artwork on instagram.

Designer and proud mother of three, Damaris Bailey, created her own fashion label based in California. Her aesthetic is modern romantic and has the sweetest clothing collection, including dreamy dresses and darling blouses.

Roses are one of my favorite flowers and recently I discovered this amazing rose flower company. Grace Rose have their own rose farm and grow their own fields of roses organically. They sell bouquet of flowers for anybody who want them for their weddings, Mother's day gift, wholesale or simply want a beautiful bouquet to brighten up their homes.

Since last month was the beginning of the new season, I wanted to add some new pieces to freshen up spring wardrobe. If there is one thing I love to wear, it is hair accessories! Pretty headbands, hair clips and hair ribbons are my absolute weakness it comes to accessorizing any outfit. So back in March, I mostly bought few new hair accessories that would go perfectly with my spring outfits.

This gorgeous bow pearl headband had been sitting in my ASOS cart since last year! When I saw it was still in stock and on sale, I knew I had to pick it up immediately.

Also from ASOS, I found these pink resin bead hair clips. I loved how pretty they are and looked more expensive than they actually were!

Yes, I needed to add another headband to my collection. This style has been popular for awhile, from premium brands such as Lele Sourdough to more affordable from Amazon. I was actually looking through Nicola Bathie McLaughlin's (designs stunning jewelry) instagram page when I spotted her wearing this headband. As soon when I saw her styling it, I knew I had to have it.

Of course I had to get a clothing piece. This adorable top from Nordstrom ticked all the boxes for me. It has puff sleeves, ditsy floral pattern, a cute little bow detail on the chest, comfortable and it was on sale! I plan to wear this with my pink corduroy skirt and either flats or sandals for a chic casual look.

Did you pick up anything new for spring in March?

P.S. Hope your doing well and stay safe!
