Back in 2016, I proclaimed myself as a "lingerie enthusiast" after discovering the world of beautiful lingerie on Pinterest. I even created a Pinterest board called, "Pretty Lingerie" (here's a link to check it ). I also created one for sleepwear (Link). For hours, I would scroll through different pages dedicated to lingerie, saving pins whenever I came across a stunning piece.

Seeing the delicate lace, in gorgeous chiffon, tulle and silk fabric, with dainty bows adorned at the straps, in sexy yet elegant silhouettes made me adore it even more. It was unabashedly feminine, which is why I became attracted to this particular style of clothing. From there, I thought I would want to be a fashion merchandiser for luxury lingerie and sleeperwear someday. Honestly, I still wouldn't mind having that position (La Perla, For Love and Lemons, Sleeper...call me).

In this post, I curated some of my current favorite pieces like pajama sets, chemises, robes and bralettes. Ranging from brands such as Agent Provocateur, La Perla, Sleeper, Anya Lust (black owned!) and more, these luxurious items will make you feel confident and beautiful. No matter if its for the bedroom or simply to lounge in, I believe it is important to treat yourself and invest in 1-2 pieces of pretty lingerie/sleepwear.

P.S. Even if you're single, still treat yourself to some nice pieces. The only person you need to impress is yourself. XOXO

It's that time of the year again, where Nordstrom has its famous anniversary sale that is hyped among the fashion blogger community. Usually it starts in July, but due to the pandemic, it now starts in August. If you are cardmember, then you get early access and can start shopping the sale on August 4th. The sale is officially open to the public on August 18th. Here is the link for details.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is different from your typical sale. Instead of having discounts on past season merchandise, the discounts are applied to new products for the upcoming fall season (planning to do posts on fall trends and essentials which I'm so excited for!). Merchandise such as coats, sweaters, boots, jewelry, makeup, sleepwear and more are apart of the sale from beloved brands.

Check out below my picks for the sale edit. I looked through the virtual catalog to see a preview of what's going to be sold in the event. *Post is not sponsored*

  1. Love Monica Vinader fine jewelry, especially this rose gold diamond chain ring. Their jewelry is very timeless, elegant and feminine.

  2. I'm not really a hat person, but this one is an exception. This burgundy wool one with the pink velvet band will not only keep you warm in the cooler months, but also stylish.

  3. Why not treat yourself, specifically your skin and hair, to a fully luxurious beauty sleep on silk pillowcases? I like how this comes in a set of two.

  4. A nice crossbody bag in a neutral hue is a staple for any wardrobe. The cream color with the yellow gold hardware is a great combination for my light colored clothing.

  5. This blush balloon sleeve sweater from Topshop is absolutely adorable. It would be perfect to pair with high waisted pants or high waisted skirt.

  6. You get the best of both worlds with this cardi coat. It is exactly what it says, it's a piece that has elements of a cardigan and a coat. Very versatile and be layered on top of your fall outfits.

  7. It is not a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale edit without the mention of the popular Barefoot Dreams blanket. Although I have never felt one, there have been ton of reviews saying it's the coziest throw blanket ever. My favorite is this soft cream and beige combination, it gives off a hygge feeling.

  8. When the temperature drops, it does not mean it's time to ditch skirts. This romantic tiered midi skirt will work perfectly with a cozy sweater tucked into it and a pair of cute boots.

  9. Mules is the perfect type of shoe to wear when the weather transitions. These cute pink mules with comfortable padding is no exception.

  10. On the topic of footwear, we need to discuss boots. These suede knee-high boots in a rich sandy color are stunning. I find the pointed toe to be very flattering style.

Are you shopping the sale? What are your favorite pieces? XOXO

Since freshman year of college, I have designed several mood boards for projects and assignments. My major is fashion merchandising, so you get used to making them since they are an important step in the process of designing future seasonal collections. Mood boards are a creative way to visually show inspiration of what you like and want by creating an organized collage.

Inspired by LoveShackFancy's adorable mood boards that are displayed at each store, I decided to make one myself. I wanted to dedicate my board to my love for feminine and romantic style. Things such as gorgeous architecture in Paris, silk floral dresses, precious bows and beautiful blooms are what I adore, so they had to be incorporated in the mood board. Below I show you the process on how you can make one for yourself too!

Supplies: blank board, any color of paint (I used Behr's Rosewater for mine), your favorite images printed out, ribbon (optional) and buttons (optional).

Step 1. After gathering your supplies, paint an even coat of paint to the board. Let it dry before putting anything on it.

This the paint I used. Side note, how stunning is the name of this muted blush hue? Rosewater *heart eyes*

Here is my growing collection of pretty, vintage ribbon that can be found on Etsy. I keep it inside a cute Kate Spade storage box.

Step 2. When the board is completely dry, then you can start playing around with the images to see where you want them placed. Personally, I did not want to clutter the whole board with pictures because I still wanted to see the pink background and add the final details.

Step 3. Add pretty final touches like embellishments to the board to make it look cohesive and stand out. I decided to use vintage inspired buttons, fabric swatches and a ribbon bow to tie the theme together. Done!

What is something that inspires you when it comes to fashion? XOXO
